Hope Hagen Market is in good shape

I APPLAUD the opening of the Mount Hagen Market on Saturday 9th December 2006. It’s the first of its kind and one of the biggest in the highlands region. The market will not only boost the selling power for proletariat and the like to earn their hard cash but also to congregate people from other highlands regions and around the nation to have a fair and balanced trade. The onus is on the people of Western Highlands and other beneficiaries of this major project to take pride in helping the Western Highlands Provincial government (WHPG) to keep the facilities unsoiled and defend it from annihilate them. Had it not been for AUSAID, WHPG, Mr. Michael Makap and Wamp Nga Group of Companies, and John Pil of Aust-PNG Incentive Fund, the major development - probably one of the best in the Pacific would not have eventuated.
