Health services in Papua New Guinea needs an overhaul
There is serious issue of lack of manpower, shortage of medical supplies, closure of aid posts, lack of health awareness, and total breakdown in many other public services were highlighted during the cholera outbreak in Morobe Province.
Basic drugs are not available at the aid posts or staff shortage or the aid post is closed, this is against humanity any government for the people’ and its agents and public servants can repay its people for giving them the mandate and trust to manage resources to serve them.
Sometime ago the National Exective Council (NEC) provided budget allocations for each province and district and even LLGs regarding funds released for service delivery. Can the Morobe Provincial Government and administration tell the people of Morobe how these funds are being used?
Hope it is not eaten up by some selfish individuals. It is time the provincial government starts to scrutinise the performance of their senior executives within the administration and assess whether they are delivering services.

Yeah indeed I agree with you Kange. And it hurts to know that truth when PNG goverment boasts of its Health plan aim: Health for ALL Papua New Guineans for the last 10 damn years.
Seems PNG does not have a transparent, vibrant LEADER with a vision of seeing PNG Progress. No wander why to be a Politician is seen as the cheapest way of being rich is PNG...what a shame MPs.
I love my coutry PNG, and know PNGeans will surely change for the better. If only the MPs can come to their sense and allow development rather than corruption.
while we have the likes of LNG projects and other mineral resources to boast our economy in due years... the honour now is on our trusted appointed MPs to perform their duties.
