Papua New Guinea's cultures and traditions are alive and well

Papua New Guinea has more than eight hundred languages and over a thousand cultures. Even though modernization has influenced few Papua New Guineans to do away with their important part of their identity, ninety-nine point nine percent (99.9%) still keep their cultures and traditions close to their hearts. This makes Papua New Guinea a unique country on the planet.

The pictures shown above were taken at Divine Word University in Madang, PNG on the 22nd of August 2009 during their annual cultural show
To get a glimpse of some of these cultures and traditions on display, contact your nearest travel agent to book a flight to Papua New Guinea for various cultural shows throughout the year.
