A gift from Kontkona Lutheran Church (MLC-PNG)

These are the women of Melpa Lutheran Church in Papua New Guinea (MLC-PNG). They are from Kontkona Lutheran Church (MLC-PNG) who presented a gift to me when I was in Mount Hagen, WHP in November of 2007. The bilum was a gift from the congregation and presented to me by the women's group on behalf of the church. On hand to present the gift is Mrs. Koma Hongke who is a women's leader in the church.

Grandma

This is my grandma. She is 98 years old. She is so sweet and wants to spend time with my family eventhough she has other children. Grandpa died when I was in grade nine. Whenever she heard that I would come home, she asks people to take her to my place before I get there. It feels so good to see my grandma beside me. She is a sweetheart. She has five children, a bunch of grandchildren and countless great-grandchilren, and a few great-great-grandchilden. Grandma, continue to prayer for me!
